I've been trying to clean out our computer/junkroom this week. It's
not going so great. A few minutes ago I knocked over one of my
favorite pieces of junk, an old cast iron and glass gumball machine.
Oh, and somehow I managed to cut myself on the leg in the process. I
couldn't face cleaning it up right away so I sat down to compose
myself and this post. Just shoot me.

Can I just say that sweeping gumballs makes you feel like you're playing Hungry Hungry Hippos with a broom. That's all.
ugh, i hate it when something like that happens. sorry bout your leg and the gumball machine and all those tasty gumballs :(
Sounds like you need a break to do something FUN!!!
Oh, no! Hope your day improves!
awww...i'm sorry you got cut and lost the gumball machine... :(
but i'm looking forward to seeing you in 10 days! woo hoo! it's gonna be SO MUCH FUN!!!
It will get better.
I am so sorry about your gumball machine. I know it doesn't feel good when a favorite piece gets broken. Jackie
Cleaning is overrated. You could always apply for the "Clean Sweep" show. They'll come in and do all the cleaning for you. The down side is that they throw out ALL your crap! Happy belated birthday!
Oh no!! I know that was a big mess to clean up. Always fun cleaning up little pieces of things that ROLL!!
Hope you are ok.
Ugh! What a bummer. We had something like that happen the other day with a cheap plate (not a cool glass and lead gumball machine, but still!). It shattered just WRONG and got glass all over the entire kitchen, dining area, and it even clear into the living room! Of course, you have to sweep, mop and all that so you can have some insurance that there aren't little tiny glass shards in your feet later. Grrrrrr.
