I've been making monthly birthday cakes for the Computer Science Department at MSU for several months now. This was the cake for March. Since the only person with a birthday for then month was a lady, I took the opportunity to make it a little more feminine than usual. Basket weave and springtime flowers seemed like a good choice :-)

Basketweave birthday cake

That is freaking GORGEOUS. I would hate to cut it -- but, of course, I would. You have such a gift!
