This is going to be a short one since I'm really tired and I'm planning on going to bed after Criminal Minds goes off.
Thanks for all your comments ladies. :-)
We managed to get the car back to Meridian. It was kind of a hassle, but I won't go into details about it. I'm just glad we got there okay. Dad couldn't get it going, so they let us use their car since Mr. McHacker needs to go to work the rest of the week.
I have some cool pictures of my sweet little nephew playing football that I'm going to post soon. And some pictures of flowers that I thought were pretty. Hopefully I'll get those up tomorrow.
Right now, I'm wondering what I should do about the music coming from the apartment above us. I've been listening to this techno-crap rattle my windows for about 2 hours now. I've not really met this neighbor since he just moved in a couple of weeks ago. These are my three options:
1. Should I go ask him to turn it down? I don't want to seem like the "older bitchy lady downstairs."
2. Should I be passive-aggressive and blast something equally annoying that I like and others don't? Maybe some bluegrass?
3. Should I call the landlord and let him deal with it?
Well, damn. He just turned his music off. I guess I don't need to do anything. Good. But this wasn't the first time it's happened, so I'd still like to know what you think.
Have a good night y'all.

hope the car problems get resolved soon and inexpensively!
as for the neighbor, i would just call the landlord if he does it after 10 or so
Girl I had the same thing happen when I live in appart. I just complained to the landlord b/c you really don't know this person, and they could be fruitcake.. just saying becareful...
thanks dr. wifey and confessions i'll give the landlord a call
That is the worst part of living in an apartment. When we got married we lived under three teenagers. Same problem. Music at all hours and they must have been busting some moves for all the stomping we heard. I wound up taking a lot of naps during the day time when those teens were at school because I couldn't sleep at night!
I'd call the landlord.
Been there. Hate it.
I actually called hubs, who was a cop on patrol that night, who actually told me to call dispatch and have an officer come out. We had a company managing our apartments, and at five, they were gone for the night.
That was soooooo much fun.
